Chef de Partie Pastry

 

 

Our kitchen team prepares food for our 65 cover gastronomic restaurant and 2 private dining rooms along with room service, afternoon teas and bar snacks.

We are looking for a career-minded chef to join our small, highly skilled pastry section. It is a varied role as it involves every aspect of hotel operations – bread making, a full range of pastries, jams, ice cream and handmade chocolates and petit fours, afternoon teas plus à la carte desserts. It is also a unique opportunity to work in one of the UK’s few self-sufficient pastry kitchens using local Jersey produce and homegrown produce from our renowned kitchen garden

Requirements:

  • Experience in a minimum 2 rosette establishment at a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie level
  • 2 references from previous employers
  • College training preferred
  • Good spoken English
  • Creativity, innovation and attention to detail
  • Please note that since we are open all year round, we do not hire on a seasonal basis
  • At the current time, we cannot consider applicants who do not hold an EU passport
