The state-of-the-art wine cellar stocks up to 5,000 bottles in perfectly controlled conditions.

The state-of-the-art wine cellar is the first of its kind in the Channel Islands and one of only a handful in the UK. The hand-built racking systems together with sophisticated temperature and humidity controls, enables us to store over 5,000 bottles in absolutely perfect condition. Adjacent to the Victorian kitchen garden, the cellar’s bespoke lighting and fully glazed entrance door allows guests to discover its uniqueness at any time.

This wine list is a work in progress featuring almost 600 bins. We endeavour to search out some of the more interesting, drinkable and good value wines from around Europe as well as featuring collections ranging from the famous to the classic and from local to lesser-known regions. Thanks to an ever-expanding selection of wines by the glass, we also aim to offer guests a very affordable experience.

Sustainability is at the heart of all we do at Longueville Manor and our wine list is no exception. We have taken the bold decision to only feature European wines and as our work progresses, we are finding exceptional less well-known regions such as The Jura, Switzerland and a host of eastern Europe growers and wine makers pushing the boundaries in producing amazing wines.

With their extensive knowledge of wine, our highly trained team of Sommeliers work tirelessly together with hotel owner Malcolm Lewis on this unique collection. The Sommeliers are always on hand to guide and help guests make the perfect choice whilst fully understanding that everyone has their own personal tastes and preferences.

Guests can now experience some of the finest wines by the glass thanks to WineEmotion, a sophisticated machine that preserves wine from oxidation through a unique nitrogen gas system, keeping aromas and fragrances intact.

The cellar works also as a small museum with a unique display of very rare and valuable wines. In addition, visitors will also notice the display cabinet featuring numerous wine artifacts that have considerable sentimental value to both the hotel and its owners.
